It's very important to choose a balanced, healthy food. Food is our fuel, and our minds and bodies depend on it.
We should remember:
Eat less salt, sugar and saturated fat which can be found in crisps, cakes, biscuits and chocolate.
Eat more raw fruit and vegetables, wholemeal bread and other food rich in fibre: nuts, cereals, beans.
Eat regularly.
Reduce sugar you take in tea.
Don't eat sugary food too often.
Look after vitamins and minerals in your food.
And enjoy the food!
But some tasty food, such as ice-cream, is high in fat or added sugar. And it's better to choose reduced fat ice-cream.
Another problem is that we often eat in a hurry...
