"Westminster Abbey is a grandiose ensemble of Gothic architecture. Overwhelmed we moved from one hall to another… How solemn! The whole history of the royal country's dynasties is in one place. And the Poets’ Corner is also here. William Shakespeare, Lewis Carroll, Charles Dickens… It's incredible!..."

"The Houses of Parliament are the same Gothic style, great and fundamental. It is a refined and a strict style! At the same time Big Ben  met us with a glad, melodic, welcoming chime. It is a pity that it was partly covered for the restoration. But on the other hand it is life. London life goes on as usual!..."

"London Eye gave us the opportunity to look at London from a bird's-eye view. It was fantastic! Such a big, different and beautiful city... And people, houses, streets, roads, cabs, buses, boats on the Thames were so tiny!))..."

"London Underground is the oldest metro in the world. The history of our station - Kilburn Park - could be read on a special stand over the turnstiles. It is not at all like in Moscow. But it is nice in its own way. And we went by this tube every day!..."
